Customer Name: Magnum Construction Services |
Project Location: Renton, Washington
Project Summary:
The project itself is the new Hyatt Hotel at Southport in Renton, Washington. The Hyatt was built in a joint effort by Sellen and SECO construction. Magnum Construction Services had completed many successful projects with SECO in the past and was brought in to find a creative solution to build a scaffold that would allow the mason to set his brick and at the same time provide access for the exterior siding to be installed. Magnum Construction contacted AT-PAC to provide a custom solution.
Customer Challenge:
Traditionally masons complete their work before any scaffolding is erected. However, our client had a special requirement to set up scaffolds suitable for a mason’s work environment and once completed the scaffolds would be dismantled.
AT-PAC Solution
AT-PAC designed scaffolding suitable for the exterior cladding to meet the requirements of this project.
Impact
The AT-PAC Ringlock System Scaffold is ideal for buildings because Side Brackets can be utilized for building protrusions or depressions. The versatility of the AT-PAC Ringlock System Scaffold was instrumental in achieving the desired configuration which allowed the entire building to be enveloped in scaffolding at one time and allowed each trade to keep their respective working distance of the wall which in turn advanced the overall schedule of the project immensely over the standard “mason goes first” approach taken on most jobs of this nature. Additionally, on-time deliveries by AT-PAC prevented downtime during the erection process.
