Chairman of the Board & Founder
20 years ago, AT-PAC was started with meager beginnings in the construction equipment surplus industry out of Tucker, Georgia by Tom Davis. AT-PAC’s initial focus encompassed the secondhand Scaffolding, Shoring, and Forming market whereby AT-PAC found a unique niche in buying, selling, & brokering used equipment throughout North America.
In the late 1990’s and into the early 2000’s AT-PAC’s business strategy moved from used equipment reseller to distributor of industrial scaffolding products on a rental and sales basis. In the mid 2000’s Tom continued to grow and invest into AT-PAC’s Industrial Scaffold Supply division and made the strategic decision to acquire an industrial scaffold labor business based in Fort McMurry, Canada.
In 2009 Tom and his management team began to formulate a business strategy to brand and move AT-PAC into a global position. The team realized that to remain competitive on a global scale, the company needed to be re-aligned and further developed to move the business onto the international platform. This strategic vision and direction is the base of what has made AT-PAC the industry leader in the global market for industrial scaffolding supply and solutions today.
Tom believes that in order to do great things, you must have great people and stands firm that AT-PAC’s success is hinged on having the best team members in the industry. He values AT-PAC’s honest, open culture to do the right thing the first time and developing long term relationships with both clients and employees.
